One of my favourite podcasts mentioned that Captain Scott of Antarctic fame wrote a final letter to his wife asking that his son be educated in the natural Sciences. Some 50 years later that son: Sir Peter Scott designed the WWF logo. Apparently in black & white to save on printing costs!
